Dr. Sarah Kelly is a geographer who investigates water, energy, and culture in Mapuche-Wiliche territory of southern Chile and ancestral Abenaki lands of New England. Activities include:
Running the Energy Justice Clinic at Dartmouth College and serving as a Lecturer in Geography
Collaborating in the Epulafkenmapu Collective (Colectivo Epulafkenmapu), an intercultural community science project led by Williche communities

Intercultural Water Transect: Epulafkenmapu
I am part of a multi-year collaboration called “EpuLakfenMapu: Intercultural Transect for the Maihue-Ranco Watershed. I coordinate the technical team of this research collaboration with two Mapuche-Williche women, Antumalen and Claudia Antillanca. The study is guided by Mapuche-Williche leaders and communities throughout the Puelwillimapu territory. The interdisciplinary team includes a marine biologist, botanists, a sociologist, an anthropologist, a filmmaker, and a graphic designer.
